Our main projects are currently:
Examinations for children and pregnant women: Due to the lack of a general social assurance system, necessary ad hoc examinations are often not carried out or carried out too late. In our partner clinic regular free examinations for children and pregnant women are offered.
Screening for colon cancer: Colorectal cancer is often diagnosed and treated too late. Medical check-ups and the treatment of sick people, financed by Bénin Santé, shall help to reduce the death rate from colon cancer.
“Doctors for Bénin”: If the situation due to COVID-19 allows it, the project will be continued.
Viral Hepatitis B and C: The projects against viral hepatitis B and C will be continued.
